Sam Davis has just completed a course with Pettigo BB with 10 members been successful in passing the beginners excam, the association see this course as our way putting something into the community and the boys can use this for their badge work or Duke Edinburgh Award Scheme.  The association hopes that when Youth League starts that a few members will begin refereeing.

The course with Irvinestown BB his cuurently taking place as there one at the Bawnacre Centre Irvinestown these two beginners classes are being taken by Arnold Hunter and Basil Marshall 

Pictured right is Malcolm Moffatt presenting Jolene Gillespie her IFA badge.   Jolene is the Association’s third female referee.

Stewart Dobson and Richard Anderson have begun refereeing in the Fermanagh and Western Football League with Stewart Dobson taking charge of the Reserve Division Two game between Shelbourne Reserves and NFC Kesh III while Richard refereed the Reserve Division Three game between Fintona Swifts Reserves and Fivemiletown United Colts.  The other two with begin their referee careers in the Mid Ulster Youth League.

 

TWO NEW REFEREES

The Association completed it's first beginners course of  the season taken by new IFA Instructors Arnie Hunter and Sam Davis, the  course saw four successful candidates pass the exam, Keith McKiernan, Malcolm  Brown, Rodney Smith and Vincent Melaugh.  Vincent and Rodney have both  affiliated with Vincent have refereed his first game on 8th November 2003  in Reserve Division Three, Drumquin Rovers Reserves v Derrychara United  Reserves.
