Congratulations to F&W who travelled to England and won the North-West Divisional finals in the Quiz.  NW finished runners up in the 5-asides while NEU Belfast finished 4th.

This seasons Quiz & 5-asides competition (hosted by the the North-West Referees’ Association) took place on Sunday 7th December 2003 at the Templemore Leisure Complex.  North-West won the 5-aside competition, with North-East Ulster Belfast finishing 2nd.  The difference between the two teams was goal difference.  These two teams qualify for the Divisional Finals in England.  Fermanagh & Western won the Quiz who once again will represent N. Ireland in England.  This is the ninth successive win for Fermanagh though they didn’t have all their own way with Mid-Ulster leading for most of the way only to lose their lead at the later stages.  Six points covered the difference between 1st & 4th places.

The Quiz Master was Norman Cowie, with Ken Lowry as his score keeper.  The referees for the 5-aside competition were from Donegal.
